As part of the Improving Community Health through Effective Engagement (ICHEE) project, Equalities and Cultural Diversity Training is being offered free to voluntary sector organisations.
Equalities and Cultural Diversity training will help equip voluntary sector organisations with the knowledge about equality legislation and facilitate delivering culturally competent services to Black and Minority Ethnic communities.
The one-day training is bespoke to the organisation’s needs and requirements. Common topics that have been covered include:
• Cultural Diversity: Understanding values, race and ethnicity
• Effective engagement with diverse communities
• Delivering and managing cultural competency
• Race Equality and legislation
Participant comments include:
