Are you looking for creative resources for your organisation or group? Have you benefited from taking part in arts or crafts? Do you work in the community? Do you want to develop new ways of working?
Organised by the Scottish Arts Therapies Forum, with support from Voluntary Arts Scotland, Talking Together, Working Together: Exploring Arts and Health, is an exciting conference taking place at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh on Saturday 8th October. The event will bring artists, community and arts workers and arts therapists together with participants, to demonstrate how different practices can benefit health and wellbeing. The conference will share examples of joint working across the arts and arts therapies, through case presentations where collaboration has been most effective. Attendance at this conference will offer:
• a deeper insight into the health benefits of arts activities and arts therapies
• a chance to actively explore a new art form and how it can be applied
• an opportunity to meet and network with the wider arts community
• the possibility of new collaborations
