Developing partnerships between the NHS and Community and Voluntary Sector organisations for Anticipatory Care
PROJECT INVITATION
Dear colleague
As you may be aware, NHS Health Scotland is supporting the development and strengthening of partnerships between Community and Voluntary Sector organisations and anticipatory care programmes. The aim is to support partnership working to enhance the outcomes of anticipatory care in reaching the target groups and enhancing their health and wellbeing.
Having just published the Guidance for Partnerships between NHS and Community and Voluntary Organisations for anticipatory care, we would like to follow up on this and offer support to develop local partnership working projects between community/voluntary sector organisations and the NHS on anticipatory care to apply the principles from the guidance in practice.
NHS anticipatory care projects and community/voluntary organisations are invited to discuss with their local partners, plan and submit a brief outline proposal for an initiative they will conduct as a partnership to deliver / enhance an aspect of anticipatory care. Either party can initiate the discussion and project planning; however both parties (NHS and community/voluntary organisation/s) should be involved.
If you wish to informally discuss your potential project prior to submitting your proposal, please contact Dr Angela Jackson on 0131 313 7575 or email angelajackson2@nhs.net
Kind regards
Greig Stanners
