Craig Russell

Senior Volunteering Development Adviser

Craig is part of the Volunteering Development Services team within VANL. His role involves overseeing volunteering development and working with staff in the Volunteering Development Services team to ensure effective recruitment and matching for volunteers, and provision of relevant support to volunteer-involving organisations.

Craig also coordinates six locality networks for volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations in North Lanarkshire to participate in, as well supporting projects and initiatives for volunteering and employability, youth volunteering, and marketing and communication for the organisation.

In addition to his role with VANL, Craig has been involved in the voluntary sector locally for more than 10 years, with Volunteer Centre North Lanarkshire, Coatbridge Citizens Advice Bureau, and North Lanarkshire Adult Literacy and Numeracy partnership.
