Mark O'Hare

Young Persons Volunteer Development Advisor

Mark is the key worker for Volunteering MCMC (young people) his main responsibilities involve participating in 16+ Learning Choices Activity Agreements, working in partnership within the six learning hubs throughout North Lanarkshire, as well as building partnerships with all secondary schools. He has designed a training pack to assist partners involved with delivery of group sessions, and provides tailored support to individual young people encouraging them to see volunteering as a positive life choice.

Before joining VANL, Mark worked with Routes to Work, Citizens Advice Bureau and many other statutory and voluntary organisations dealing with young people.
