The Community Solutions programme is committed to building community capacity to support improvements to people’s wellbeing, with a focus on vulnerable groups and carers. The programme is the community delivery arm of Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire (HSCNL) which, in partnership with the host organisation, Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (VANL) oversees the £1.5 million a year programme, including governance, delivery and evaluation.
The primary role of the chair is to provide effective meeting support to the Community Solutions Governance Sub Group, which meets at least four times a year. The chair may also be asked to represent Community Solutions at other meetings or groups.
