Consultation on Strathclyde Park

Consultation on Strathclyde Park

North Lanarkshire Council is carrying out a consultation on future plans for Strathclyde Country Park and they would like to hear your ideas.

Over the next three months, they will be working with consultants and engaging with the Community and Voluntary Sector, schools, organisations, groups and current and future users of the park.

  • Thursday 25 July - 12:30pm to 6pm - Bellshill Cultural Centre
  • Saturday 27 July - all day at Strathclyde Park Watersports Centre and pop-ups around the park (check NLC social media for announcements of exact times and locations)

The Motherwell consultation event has already taken place but there are still 2 events that you can attend.

For those that can’t make the consultation events, there are plans for an online consultation, the link for which will be circulated in due course.

Strathclyde Country Park is an iconic North Lanarkshire Country park which lies in 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde. Set within beautiful surroundings the park is one of the most popular family attractions in the central belt of Scotland, with thousands of visitors coming each year to the park in order to enjoy the vast range of activities and events on offer.

Please share your ideas by participating in the consultation to help develop the park for the citizens of Lanarkshire and future generations.
