Communities in Motherwell, Wishaw and Shotts now have the opportunity to decide how public money is spent in their area.
People who live in these towns and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to vote on a list of projects such as new play areas, environmental improvements and ideas celebrating local history and heritage.
Voting opens on Monday 19 August and runs until Friday September 6.

People can choose how to vote; either online or by using more traditional methods.
Around £500,000 in public money is available; £150,000 for Motherwell and £350,000 for Wishaw and local people are eligible to vote as long as they meet the following criteria:
- You need to be at least 8 years old
- You must have a Motherwell, Shotts or Wishaw & District post code (including Allanton, Harthill, Salsburgh and other outlying villages)
- Each person will be able to vote for four projects and all votes must be used.
