Humjolie's Multifaith Celebration
Saturday 26th November

For the past few years the dates for the Muslim festival of Eid, the Hindu festival of Diwali and Christian festival of Christmas fell in close proximity, giving Humjolie, a  Lanarkshire based South Asian women's support group the idea for Multifaith celebration.

For the past three years they have organised a multifaith celebration for Lanarkshire women at the John McCormack Community Centre in Carfin. Every year the attendance at the event has increased and women now look forward to this celebration of cultures.

Humjolie's Multifaith Celebration is an opportunity to promote a better understanding and respect for the diverse faiths and beliefs within the wider Lanarkshire communities. Understanding and respect are key to strengthening relationships and build stronger bonds between our diverse communities.
