LEADER Crowdfunding Events Announced

LEADER are delighted to be partnering with Crowdfunder UK to deliver a series of events introducing Crowdfunding, accompanied by one-to-one expert coaching (for those in the eligible LEADER areas). Two introductory events will be held in North Lanarkshire (Cumbernauld and Shotts). More info can be found by following the links below:

A B Charitable Trust

ABCT supports small to medium charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals whatever their circumstances. Organisations can apply for up to £20 000.

The Trust is particularly interested in charities that work with marginalised and excluded people in society, with a focus on:

EXACT (formerly Airdrie & Coatbridge Roundtable) Christmas Santa Tour and Collection

EXACT has, for over 33 years, undertaken a tour with Santa in and around the local areas of Coatbridge and Airdrie in the 9 evenings leading up to Christmas. They usually collect in excess of £10k for local good causes but in recent years, their member numbers have dropped considerably and they are now struggling to fulfil the nights and collect donations.

The Robertson Trust – Main and Major (revenue and capital)

Next Application Deadline: 30th November 2018

The Robertson Trust’s Open Awards Programme provides around £16M in awards each year to organisations working in Scotland.  They are a match funder (this means they do not fully fund projects or activities) and can consider both Revenue and Capital requests for funding.
