{"id":3407,"date":"2025-02-05T15:39:47","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T15:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voluntaryactionnorthlanarkshire.org\/?p=3407"},"modified":"2025-02-05T15:54:38","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T15:54:38","slug":"community-solutions-thematic-fund-now-open-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voluntaryactionnorthlanarkshire.org\/index.php\/2025\/02\/05\/community-solutions-thematic-fund-now-open-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Solutions Thematic Fund now open for applications!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (VANL) is delighted to announce the newly remodelled Community Solutions Thematic Fund is now open for applications.\u00a0\u00a0From the recurring funding received from University Health &amp; Social Care North Lanarkshire (UHSC-NL), VANL has \u00a3316,000 of funding available for Community &amp; Voluntary Sector (CVS) organisations to apply for.<br><br>The intention of the new funding model is to ensure the funding is more dynamic and responsive to changing themes and priorities on an annual basis, including the priorities of the Community Solutions Strategy and Investment Plan, UHSCP-NL Strategic Commissioning Plan and Programme of Work, and public health priorities.<br><br><strong>The Fund will be split into 3 strands, these being:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Innovation Strand:<\/strong>\u00a0This strand will aim to fund projects with new approaches to prevention and early intervention and will have \u00a3126,400 available for applications.\u00a0 Applications should be made in the range of \u00a310,000 to \u00a350,000, with the average application being around \u00a327,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Volunteering Strand:<\/strong>\u00a0Given the importance of this area of work to the sector, this strand will aim to fund projects with a focus on different approaches to volunteering and will have \u00a3126,400 available. Gain applications should be made in the range of \u00a310,000 to \u00a350,000, with the average application being around \u00a327,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NL-Wide Strand:<\/strong>\u00a0This strand will aim to fund organisations delivering projects across three or more NL localities. This could include for example projects that are condition specific or projects focused on communities of interest or identity rather than geography. This will be split over two calls for applications, with each call having \u00a331,000 to distribute.
