VANL – Interim CEO Announcement

Dear VANL stakeholder,

I am writing to inform you of an important leadership transition at Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire (VANL).

After five years of dedicated service, our current CEO, Maddy Halliday, has decided to retire. Maddy’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding VANL through a period of growth and success, and we sincerely thank her for her unwavering commitment to our organisation.

During this transitional period, we are pleased to announce that Margaret Gibb will be stepping in as the interim CEO. Margaret brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of great work in the Community and Voluntary Sector, making her a valuable asset to our leadership team. She will be working closely with Maddy to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the momentum of our ongoing initiatives.

We are in the process of conducting a thorough search for a permanent CEO, and we are confident that Margaret’s interim leadership will provide stability and continuity during this period. We will keep you updated on the progress of the search and the appointment of a permanent CEO.

We want to express our gratitude to Maddy for her exceptional leadership and welcome Margaret to her new role.

If you have any questions or concerns during this transition, please feel free to reach out to Ryan Young, our HR and Operations Manager at ryan.young@vanl.co.uk in the first instance. Your dedication and hard work are vital to the continued success of VANL, and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Thank you for your understanding and collaboration during this period of change.

Sincerely,
Ryan Currie
