North Lanarkshire Council’s Working for Families Programme is seeking support from partners in the third sector and public sector to create work placements within their organisation for Working for Families registered clients.
Working for Families has a caseload of clients who would benefit from six months work experience to support them on their work journey.
To be eligible, the client must be currently registered with Working for Families at Routes to Work or part of our WFF Third Sector Grants Programme for a minimum of three months and be at least six months unemployed. Pre-identified clients are ineligible. Duration of placements is six months and must end by 31st March 2027.
North Lanarkshire Council will support each organisation with full employee and oncosts. Each placement needs to be at least 8 hours per week, with a maximum of 35 hours per week, the rate of pay is the Real Living Wage (£13.45 per hour).
The host organisation must be in the third sector, or public sector and based in North Lanarkshire.
