Due to upcoming changes in legislation, Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire will no longer be able to act as an Intermediary Organisation to process applications for PVG’s. 

As a result of this, you will now need to enrol directly with Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Services (VSDS) to continue to access your disclosures.

The Process 

If you need to access disclosures or have people in posts who are already disclosure checked, you can continue to do this until your transfer is complete but you must ask the person who deals with disclosures in your organisation to complete the transfer form 

If they are not currently the named contact on the secondary organisation contract, they will also need arrange for the ID confirmation form to be completed by a member of your management committee. 

The transfer form should be emailed to compliance@volunteerscotland.org.uk and it is important that you submit it with the completed ID form if this is required.

After submitting your transfer form, which will ask for contact details, the positions you access disclosures for and the names of anyone that you have already accessed a disclosure for, your organisation will be directly enrolled, you’ll be sent enrolment codes and will be able to submit your disclosure applications directly to VSDS instead of through Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire.

Anyone you have accessed a disclosure for through our organisation and who is named on the transfer form will be linked to your new direct enrolment with VSDS. 

Please complete and return the transfer application form to compliance@volunteerscotland.org.uk as soon as you can to allow the transfer to be processed.
